How they fit together
Firebird Holdings and its shelter nonprofits should not each have to build their own back office. Kellwright Group is planned to provide that support, and to offer the same services to other nonprofits, called partners.
They are separate
Kellwright Group is its own company. It has its own name, brand, and agreements. Both share a founder, so we take extra care: any work between the two is treated as related-party work and is reviewed by counsel before a price, contract, or invoice exists. See Ethics and Conflicts of Interest.
The shelter programs, and everything about who they serve, belong to Firebird Holdings and its shelter nonprofits. Kellwright Group does not run shelters and does not receive client information.
