Not live yetThe Ledger
A live public ledger of each nonprofit’s purchasing and expenses, so anyone can see where the money goes.
What The Ledger is
The Ledger is a live ledger of each participating nonprofit’s purchasing and expense categories. It shows the totals for each category, not private details.
Totals are updated every 24 to 72 hours. We update on a fixed rhythm so the numbers stay current and no one has to take our word for it. Every update shows the date it was made.
Why we are doing it
Nonprofits that serve people in crisis are watched closely, and they should be. Publishing where the money goes, on a steady schedule, lets donors, funders, regulators, and the public check the numbers for themselves instead of guessing.
How each nonprofit will appear
| Category | This period | Year to date | Last updated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purchasing categories | — | — | — |
| Expense categories | — | — | — |
| Total | — | — | — |
Layout only. No figures are shown because no nonprofit is reporting yet.
The Ledger is not live yet. No nonprofit reports to it today. It will go live only after it has been tested and each nonprofit has agreed to take part. Until then, this page lists our own progress.
