Kellwright Group and Firebird Holdings share a founder. That is a conflict of interest waiting to happen if it is not handled in the open, so we are stating our rules now.
- Any work between Kellwright Group and Firebird Holdings or a Firebird shelter nonprofit is related-party work. Counsel reviews it before a price, contract, or invoice exists.
- We do not charge fees based on a percentage of money raised.
- Every contractor gets a classification check before work starts, and we ask employment counsel when it is not clear.
- A partner’s data and plans stay with that partner. We never reuse one partner’s information for another.
- We tell a partner when something is outside what we do, even if it costs us the work.
- Anyone can raise a concern through the Contact page.
We are writing a formal conflict-of-interest and gifts policy. When it is adopted we will post it here.
